Tradify Pricing UK 2026: Plans, Costs and Hidden Extras

Table showing Tradify pricing UK plans from Lite to Custom in GBP

Tradify pricing UK plans run from £34 to £44 a user a month across three published tiers, Lite, Pro and Plus, plus a custom-priced option for larger teams, all billed in GBP and correct as of 5 August 2026. Pro at £37 a user is the plan most UK trade businesses should budget for, since that’s where compliance certificates, progress invoicing and subcontractor scheduling live. Add-ons for SMS and the Instant Website tool sit on top of every tier.

Tradify pricing UK: full plan comparison

Tradify charges per user rather than per job, with no cap on the number of jobs, quotes or invoices you run on any plan. There’s no free tier, only a 14-day free trial, and no contract tie-in on any of the published plans.

PlanPriceBest forKey extras over the tier below
Lite£34/user/monthSolo tradespeople covering the basics
Pro£37/user/monthMost trade businessesCertificates, progress invoicing, subcontractor scheduling
Plus£44/user/monthTeams wanting AI tools and bulk billingSmartTools AI, purchase orders, bulk invoicing, kit bundles
CustomPrice on requestLarge teams with specific needsAll Plus features, negotiated terms

Because it’s a per-user model, the total bill scales directly with headcount. A four-person team on Pro pays £148 a month before any add-ons, and the same team on Plus pays £176. There’s no discount for adding seats, and no unlimited-user tier at any price, which is the main thing to weigh against per-job rivals below.

Tradify Lite: £34 a user a month

Lite covers the essentials: job management, notes and tracking, scheduling with Google Calendar sync, quoting and invoicing, pricing and markups, online and card payments, email tracking, and accounting sync with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks Online.

What it doesn’t include is everything that makes Tradify worth choosing over a basic invoicing app: no custom branding, no job photos or file storage, no recurring jobs, no timesheets, and no compliance certificates. For a one-person operation doing straightforward jobs with minimal admin, it’s workable. For most other trade businesses, it’s a starting point you’ll outgrow within a couple of months.

Tradify Pro: £37 a user a month

Pro adds the features that turn Tradify into a proper job management system: custom branding, a branded enquiry form and email inbox, job photos and file storage, recurring jobs, job templates, appointment reminders, quote options with online acceptance, progress invoicing, automatic quote and invoice reminders, costing and bill tracking, timesheets, subcontractor scheduling, and compliance certificates.

That last point matters for gas and electrical engineers specifically: Pro is the entry point for generating compliance certificates in the same app as your quotes and invoices, rather than juggling a separate certification tool. Combined with subcontractor scheduling and progress invoicing, this is the plan most UK trade businesses should treat as the real starting price, not Lite.

Tradify Plus: £44 a user a month

Plus layers on Tradify’s new SmartTools AI features: SmartRead for Bills, which captures costs from supplier bills automatically, and SmartWrite, which drafts and improves job descriptions. It also adds service reminders for boiler servicing and other repeat maintenance, job tasks, purchase orders, bulk invoicing, kit bundles for parts and labour, staff activity history, job service reports, and wider reporting.

The SmartTools features are currently exclusive to Plus, so if AI-assisted quoting or bill capture is the reason you’re looking at Tradify, this is the only tier that delivers it. For businesses that don’t need purchase orders, bulk invoicing or kit bundles, the £7 a user jump from Pro is hard to justify on features alone.

Tradify Custom: pricing on request

Custom includes every feature in Plus, with pricing negotiated directly with Tradify’s sales team rather than published on the site. It’s aimed at large teams with specific requirements, and Tradify doesn’t publish a minimum seat count or indicative discount for this tier.

Given the per-user model on the published tiers, it’s worth ringing Tradify directly once you’re past 15 to 20 users to see whether Custom actually beats paying the standard Plus rate at scale, rather than assuming a bespoke quote is automatically cheaper.

Hidden costs: add-ons, SMS and card processing

The headline per-user price isn’t the full bill. Three costs stack on top across every plan.

Instant Website. Tradify’s add-on website builder costs £10 a month, charged per account rather than per user. It’s optional on every tier, including Custom.

Text messages. Quotes and invoices sent by SMS cost £0.10 a message on every plan. Pro and Plus add a second SMS category, automatic appointment, quote and payment reminders, also billed at £0.10 a message. A business sending confirmation texts, on-the-way messages and payment chasers to a full day’s jobs can run up a noticeable SMS bill that never appears on the pricing page.

Card payment processing. Tradify’s online and card payments run through Stripe, but Tradify’s own pricing page doesn’t publish a specific processing rate. Stripe’s standard UK card fees apply on top of your subscription, and the exact percentage depends on your account and card type, so it’s worth checking the current rate at checkout or with Tradify support before assuming your invoicing price is the full cost of getting paid.

None of these are large individually, but a Pro user on the Instant Website add-on sending 200 texts a month is paying £37 plus £10 plus £20 in SMS, or £67 a month, well above the £37 headline figure.

How Tradify pricing compares to ServiceM8 and Jobber

ServiceM8 prices per business rather than per user, with a monthly job cap instead of a seat count: Free at £0 for one user and 30 jobs, Starter at £25 for 50 jobs, Growing at £59 for 150 jobs, Premium at £119 for 500 jobs, and Premium Plus at £269 for 1,500-plus jobs, with unlimited users on every paid tier. That flips the maths depending on team size. A three-person firm doing 100 jobs a month pays £59 on ServiceM8 Growing against £111 for three Tradify Pro seats, but a busy sole trader doing 200 jobs a month pays £119 on ServiceM8 Premium while staying at £37 on a single Tradify Pro licence. See our full Tradify vs ServiceM8 comparison for the feature-by-feature breakdown, and our ServiceM8 pricing guide for the job-by-job detail.

Jobber is the outlier on currency. It prices exclusively in US dollars, with Core at $49 a month for one user, Connect from $139, Grow from $199, and Plus starting at $499 for five users, and there’s no native GBP billing option. At today’s exchange rate that puts Core at roughly £36 and Grow at roughly £148, but UK customers are also exposed to card issuer FX fees on top of whatever the dollar price converts to on the day, so the real sterling cost moves with the exchange rate every billing cycle. Tradify and ServiceM8 both bill natively in GBP with no currency risk. Our Tradify vs Jobber comparison covers the feature gap between the two in more detail.

The practical takeaway: Tradify’s per-user pricing is predictable and easy to budget for a small, stable team, but it’s the priciest of the three once you’re running four or more staff against ServiceM8’s flat per-job fee, and it has the advantage over Jobber of billing in pounds with no currency exposure.

Is Tradify worth it?

Tradify is worth it for UK trade businesses that want predictable, GBP-billed pricing, need gas or electrical compliance certificates built into the same app as quoting and invoicing, or run a mixed team of Android and iOS devices where ServiceM8’s Apple-only app isn’t an option. Pro at £37 a user is the sensible default plan for most businesses, since Lite is missing too many features to be a long-term fit and Plus’s AI tools are a genuine nice-to-have rather than a necessity for most trades.

Where it’s less competitive is team size. Once you’re past three or four staff, the per-user model starts costing more than ServiceM8’s flat per-job pricing, so it’s worth running your actual headcount and job volume through both before signing up. Frequently asked questions

Is Tradify expensive?

Tradify sits in the middle of the market at £34 to £44 a user a month. It’s more expensive than ServiceM8 for teams of four or more, since ServiceM8 charges one flat fee per business with unlimited users, but it can be cheaper than ServiceM8 for a busy sole trader running high job volumes, since Tradify has no job cap.

Does Tradify have a free plan?

No. Tradify offers a 14-day free trial with full access to features, but there’s no permanently free tier. This differs from ServiceM8, which has a genuine £0 plan for one user doing up to 30 jobs a month.

Does Tradify charge per user or per job?

Tradify charges per user, with no limit on the number of jobs, quotes or invoices you create. This is the opposite of ServiceM8, which charges one flat fee per business with a monthly job cap, and unlimited users on every paid plan.

Pricing on this page was checked directly against Tradify’s live UK pricing page on 5 August 2026 and is worth reverifying before you commit, since trade software vendors typically revise plan pricing without much notice.
